Check out Pearl Street Mall this is the main shopping attraction in Boulder. You can dine here, visit unique and well known shops, or simply walk around and check out the street entertainment. Bruiser is my favorite and a favorite for a lot of little…

Royal Gorge Bridge and Park

Royal Gorge Bridge and Park

Adventure is making a comeback! One of the world’s highest suspension bridges, Royal Canyon bridge, hangs high above the Arkansas River, in a 360 acre park. The bridge was constructed starting back in 1929 and has been a favorite tourist attraction in Colorado since. I was surprised to learn while visiting that a lot of original buildings and attractions were no longer at the park.  A wildfire swept through the area in June 2013 destroying much of the park but…

Hike So Hard: Flatirons Edition

Hike So Hard: Flatirons Edition

I took a walk in the woods and came out taller than the trees. -Henry David Thoreau Ok, so let’s just reflect on the fact that Colorado is amazing. The people here are so active that I feel rather lazy next to them. They’re like superhuman or at the very least they’re drinking/eating some power fruit/berry that the rest of us on this planet, just simply, don’t know about. They need to let us in on their little secret!! Anyways,…

Tips and Tricks to Save Money So You Can Travel More Not breaking my piggy bank I have always been an extreme saver. Ever since I was a kid. Visiting Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens

Visiting Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens

Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens is such an overwhelmingly peaceful estate sitting on 70 acres of pristine land in Akron, Ohio. You’ll feel as if you’ve stepped into the past when you visit this historical landmark. And if you’re anything like me you’ll be trying to figure out ways you can move in without anyone noticing!! (Unfortunately, this is all together impossible since the estate has daily tours in which visitors explore the house, but I can still dream!) I’m…
