Yosemite Falls | Winter Yosemite Falls | Viewing Yosemite Fall Yosemite National Park
Can’t stop…won’t stop…chasing those darn waterfalls!
On any visit to Yosemite National Park this is a must see, fan favorite, very popular, crowded attraction. Don’t miss out on seeing Yosemite Falls.
Yosemite Falls is the highest waterfall in the park offering you an upper and lower waterfall to view. The falls reach a height of 2,425 ft.
The best time to view Yosemite Falls is in the spring when most of the snow is melting. And get this….sometimes…in the summer, you may not even be able to see a waterfall at all!
What a bummer!!
You can hike up to the upper falls but there is also a nicely paved walking trail to the base. This is something just about everyone can do and the views are gorgeous!
Just make sure you check to see the current conditions. Right now, with all the storms, some of the trails to the base aren’t open. And the conditions of the open trails are a bit messy, due to all the snow!
Also make sure to take in the scenery when you’re on the trail to the falls. There are some great views of the falls on the path and on the bridges. Plus the forest surrounding you make you feel so at one with nature.
Don’t miss out on seeing one of the tallest waterfalls in America on your next visit to Yosemite!
Adventure awaits!
