So we’ve been staying in Newport, Oregon and this town is exactly what I felt a coastal Oregon town was going to look like. This is now my fav town, thus far…(I feel like I say that every day now!!) Well we knew we wouldn’t get through this whole trip without a lil rain. Anndddddd it’s here! Flood warnings, high wind advisory, the rain just won’t quit. We even got flagged down by a park ranger because a tree fell on the road! But stuff like this makes for the best travel stories. We haven’t stopped giggling since the rain started. We decided to do the John Dellenback Dunes trail, which is a pretty easy one-mile loop trail. Bandon makes me feel like I’ve stepped into a New England seaside town, they’ve even got the chowda to seal the deal. Yum Yum Yummy! Lot and lots of chowder.
